Sweet southern boy Cody always dreamed of living off the land. Now he's inherited his granddaddy's old farm and can begin a wonderful new life in the village of Morningdew--a notorious Gayborhood!
Cody will need to work hard to earn money. Once he has enough cash he can upgrade his house and marry one of Morningdew's hot bachelors. In the meantime he'll be getting to know his neighbors, REALLY WELL, and will find the man he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Part farming game, part gay 'adults-only' visual novel, Morningdew Farms has everything for gay romance lovers and farm game enthusiasts!
You'll plant, harvest, raise livestock, sell goods, and earn money so you can advance through the romantic goals of the game.
Let's face it, your run-down shack isn't a proper home to start a marriage in. Furnish the place and renovate, then you'll be in the perfect position to land a husband.
With seven bachelors, including a possible threesome marriage option, you'll have dozens of scenes with potential husbands. Eventually you'll pick the man you want to go exclusive with. See if you can charm him so he wants to stay with you forever!
This hardcore adult game comes from the makers of To Trust an Incubus, so you know it will deliver the goods!
Cody is super excited to finally start farming. The lustful gay hunk picked the perfect village to start his new life. Morningdew is a total Gayborhood!
Cody is lucky to have his big sister living right next door to his farm. She'll give him tips and spot him some money for his first week. Sis is steering Cody toward some of the local hunks so he can settle down and find a husband.
Cody will need to buy supplies at the Country Store, owned and operated by Butch! This hardcore prepper and male dom takes an immediate interest in Morningdew's spunky new farmer!
When Cody is ready to add some animals to his farm, he can get them from his adorable neighbor Jace. Sweetheart Jace loves animals and is a member of a cult! Wait...what?
If Cody wants to land himself a husband he'll need to renovate his beat-up shack. Luckily, the badass builder Rusty can do the work for him. Rusty hides a secret behind his manly exterior! Maybe Cody will find out what it is?
Sanjay wants to grow grapes to start his own wine label, and Cody's farm has the perfect conditions! Can this upscale man work with a down-to-earth country boy? And will sexiness ensue if he does?
Cody was warned to stay out of the woods, but can he resist the sultry call of the hillbilly? What will happen if he dares to trespass? Did I just hear a banjo?
As Morningdew Village's only cryptid (cryptids are things like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster) Nuzzler must be careful about who he trusts. He lives in isolation with only his love of cooking to pass the time. Will he reveal himself to Cody?
We desperately need this Kickstarter to be a success or we can't make this awesome game! Do you think you can help spread the word? If not on your own social media then perhaps on forums, blogs, or other pages you visit? Link to https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ypressgames/mdf

This is a photo of the final key chains from our last Kickstarter--which are IMPOSSIBLE to get now! We'll be using the same company and process to make the Morningdew Farms key chains!
You'll also get a physical copy of the full-color adults-only art book! If you've backed Y Press Games projects in the past, you know our art books are AMAZING! It's not just tons of gorgeous art, but Steve will describe the journey we took to make this game.
Of course we couldn't have a Kickstarter without offering one of our squishy mouse pads! Will Cody have a squishy butt, man-tiddies, or crotch mouse pad? Backers will vote! This is the mouse pad from our last game for an idea. It's sexy AND practical!
You can add ten sweet 1.5" buttons to your button collection too! (Designs not final--there won't be any duplicates.)
Don't forget the super-squishy 'Country Boys Make Do' corn stress reliever and the 'Suggestive Eggplant' eggplant stress reliever! Fun to fling at people!
And, finally, you'll get a LUSCIOUS 6"x9" glossy, full-color scratch-off card with your Steam Code! We haven't designed it yet, but it will be sextacular yet tasteful!
All Shindig backers will also get Beta Access to the game! That means you get a beta key on Steam that allows you to access to the game as it develops. We want your feedback! Help us to make this game as awesome as it can possibly be!
You'll sponsor a physical item on the map. It could be a rock, tree, clump of grass, mountain top, or, if you're the first backer, the bridge! When people click your physical item they'll see: (Item) Sponsored by (Your Name). It's possible you'll be on a second map screen player's can click an arrow to get to if we can't fit everyone on the first map screen.
Of course, you'll also get your name in the credits, the Steam Key for the final digital game, the exclusive to Kickstarter Bluegrass soundtrack, and the digital art book!
Most important, you get our extreme gratitude. This perk isn't cheap, and really helps us! Thank you!!!
Pledge $1,000 or more (Extremely Limited!)
You know how sometimes Kickstarters will give backers the chance to be in the game and it turns out super awkward and annoying for the players?
Not this time! You're literally giving the player an awesome thing that they wouldn't otherwise get if it hadn't been backed by you! Everyone will love you for this!
There are several EXTREMELY LIMITED $1,000 pledge opportunities that make you a character in the game who helps the player. These pledges come with everything described above in the 'Whole Shindig' reward, plus you can buy the chance to...
Give Cody A Fishing Pole!
You'll be giving players the ability to catch fish they can sell in the game!If we don't sell this perk, then fishing will very likely NOT be in the game at all!
If we get a backer for this perk, then fishing may occur through an awesome Fishing Hole Minigame (if we meet that stretch goal) or through a typical visual novel event. Take part in this HUGE game milestone by being that awesome backer who gives the player their fishing pole!
If no one gets this perk, AND if we don't hit the Fishing Hole Minigame Stretch Goal, then there will not be a fishing element in the game.
If someone gets this perk, then fishing will be in the game, even if we don't hit the Fishing Hole Stretch Goal! (It just won't be a minigame.) Be a hero! Provide a fishing element in the game for everyone!
Give Cody a Berry Basket!
This doubles the amount of berries players can pick every time they go to the berry field!
It's an important milestone, because as the game progresses players need to make money faster. You'll be giving them a HUGE helping hand!
If no one gets this perk, this will not be incorporated as a feature in the game. We only came up with this feature to offer an awesome perk to one special backer.
Give Cody a Skillet!
The skillet is attached to a particular bachelor's route. Cody will give this bachelor this huge gift and open a new possibility for them! We don't want to give too much away, but suffice to say we made this a very critical event in one of the potential routes!
When the player gets the skillet it will be a 'holy shit' moment for them! You'll be taking part in a key twist in the game! How awesome is that?
If no one backs this perk there is still a skillet event with the bachelor, but the impact will be lost somewhat. Your backing this perk makes the skillet a pivotal plot point!
Give Cody A Treat!
Players are limited to completing two major tasks per day. As they gain in experience it's important to give them a way to get more work done. A treat is INCREDIBLY HELPFUL because it allows the player to complete one extra task in a day!
How many treats will the player get? If backers don't get this perk then this will not be a feature in the game. If backers do purchase this perk, then the treats will be exactly what's backed. If only one treat is backed then there will only be one treat given to the player in the game. That's because we only came up with this feature to offer a few extra-special backers something amazing! Pick from these treats below. First pledge gets first pick!
Hillbilly Pie (A Faux Pecan Pie Without Pecans)
Possum Stew (Stew with Opossum Meat)
Fart Beans and Weasel (Crock Pot Beans With Weasel Meat)
Dump Cake (Canned Fruit Dumped into Cake Mix and Baked)
Rocky Mountain Oysters (Breaded and Fried Bull Testicles)
Porcupine Goulash (Elbow Pasta in Sauce With Porcupine Meat)
Squirrel BBQ (Gutted and Skinned Squirrel Roasted on a Spit and Covered with BBQ Sauce)
Elvis Fried PB & Banana Sandwich (A Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich, Pan Fried in a Whole Stick of Butter, an Favorite Meal of Elvis Presley)
All of these events are crucial to the story, and you get to be a part of it!
You'll get a customized sprite drawn just how you want it and a scene with Cody to give him your gift. You can make three edits to your sprite to make sure it's perfect! (Or more if needed, as long as you're being reasonable--we want you to be happy with your sprite.) If you have adequate recording equipment you can even do the voice of your character in the game!
In most cases we will not have these awesome game elements added unless some awesome people step up to help make the game amazing for everyone!
We know these are expensive perks, that's why we went above and beyond to make them extremely special!
And of course you'll get all the other physical and digital rewards!
Pledge $250 or more
It's a Hootenanny!
This EXTREMELY LIMITED perk is a great way to make a major pledge and get your name in our game for everyone to see! You'll own a physical item on the Morningdew Farms map. It could be a tree, mountain peak, bush, patch of grass, or, if you're the very first backer to get a $250 or greater perk, you can claim the bridge!
When someone clicks on your piece of the map they'll see (Item) Sponsored by (Your Name). How cool is that!?
In addition to leaving this permanent and personalized mark on the game for all time, you'll get all the unlimited digital perks, too! That means you'll get a Beta Key to follow the game's development, Your Name in the Credits, the Digital Game, the Digital Art Book, and the Kickstarter Exclusive Digital Bluegrass Soundtrack!
Pledges Under $250
You can get Your Name in the Credits, the Digital Game, Digital Art Book, the Kickstarter Exclusive Digital Bluegrass Soundtrack, and a Beta Key on Steam to be a Part of the Game as it Develops for $100 (Hoe-Down Perk)
You can get Your Name in the Credits, the Digital Game, Digital Art Book, and the Kickstarter Exclusive Digital Bluegrass Soundtrackfor $50 (Pickin' N Grinnin' Perk)
You can get Your Name in the Credits and a Steam Key for the Digital Game for $25. The retail price of the game will be $24.99 on Steam. For the same price, you'll get your name in the credits by supporting our Kickstarter! (Square Dance Perk)
You can get Your Name in the Credits for $5. (Gayborhood Perk)
Please take a moment to follow us every which way. Why follow us on multiple platforms? Because those platforms filter what you see.
We have lots of people who are sad when they miss our Kickstarters or don't hear about our new games. We still get messages from people who missed out on some of the super cool merchandise we were offering with To Trust an Incubus!
Don't risk missing the news! Take a few moments to sign up for our newsletter, join our Discord, and follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram! You're here because you like gay games, right? That's literally what we're all about!!!
Do we seem desperate? Because we are! It's SOOOOO hard to get a Kickstarter funded! Our last Kickstarter was an UTTER FAILURE! If there's anything you can do to help spread the word, we'd be so grateful!
And I know, all the Kickstarters tell people to spread the word. You're not part of the project, so it's really not your obligation.
Here's where our request for you to spread the word is different:we're pathetic about it!!! So you could totally post something like this:
Nuzzler is precious chef pupper that must be protected. I love the voice Steve Warky Nunez brought to this character, I definitely wasn't expecting that kind of voice from them, makes Nuzzler even more adorable <3 Also, I wish I could find someone like Butch IRL, true relationship goals. the rest of the cast is excellent too but those two are my favs.
Originally I was just for bara husbandos but stayed for the personalities and surprisingly the farming aspects too. That's usually not my thing but I like how its done in this game. Such a wonderful demo :D
Really enjoyed the demo! The voice acting is very impressive; it does a lot of work both giving depth to the characters and carrying the tongue-in-cheek tone. One thing I found frustrating, though, was the lack of either visual or textual information for planted fields, so you have to mentally keep track of what you planted where and how many days it has left. Will that be adjusted in the final version?
