Yesterday I tried the same on steam platform via Steam app for macOS and everything worked fine. It is my first such game, so I just moved from itch to steam and bought your full game there. And I played till 3am of night 🙈😂 very exciting! Thank you :)

Nice! Thank you. Itch will work, but don't use the App to download it. Just manually download directly from the web site.
